Your business address can be used on file with the IRS, government agencies, vendors, and more — anywhere that you may be asked to provide a physical address for your business.
You will never have to change your business address again, eliminating the worry of important mail being lost or sent to the wrong address.

We believe that mail reception volume (i.e. the number of pieces of mail you receive at your Stable address) should not be a deciding factor in choosing a virtual mailbox provider.
With that in mind, our “Grow” and “Scale” plans each have a soft limit of receiving 100 pieces of mail per month. This limit resets at the start of each monthly billing cycle. If you consistently receive more than 100 pieces of mail per month, we reserve the right to add a $2 overage fee per mail item.

Stable addresses are no PO boxes. Similar to how an office address may be structured, all Stable addresses are real street addresses that will look like the following depending on the state you choose:

When we receive new mail for you, we’ll scan the outside envelope and extract important information such as the sender and recipient. We’ll then send you a notification via email (or through one of our integrations) with this information.
From Stable, you can request to have mail opened and scanned to see the internal contents, forwarded to anywhere in the world, deposited to your bank account, or securely shredded. We’ll send you notifications when these actions are completed as well.
We also have plans that include automations (ex. always open & scan mail) you can turn on to make mail handling even more simple.
Yes, we can ship mail anywhere in the world so you can retain physical copies. We negotiate discounted rates with carriers and pass on the savings to you, and can also combine mail and packages going to the same address to reduce shipping costs.
We store physical mail that you choose not to forward for 30 days. Mail is securely shredded after its physical storage period. We offer unlimited digital storage, meaning digitized documents are always viewable in the Stable dashboard.
Yes, we work with many business owners and founders located outside of the United States.
Yes, we can receive mail under different business names at the same address. Please add any names you expect to receive mail under as “Business Recipients” in your account.
Yes, you can receive packages from all of these carriers.

During onboarding, we ask a few questions to understand where you may have used your previous business address.
We then put together a tailored checklist for your business with instructions on how to update your address with government entities, IRS, vendors, etc.
We also pre-fill any paperwork and have offer a dedicated team member to walk through this process with you and answer any questions. We're here to make the transition as easy as possible.
Yes, you can deposit checks electronically or mail-in with a click of a button once your bank account is linked to Stable. You can read more about the options available for this additional service here.
Our Registered Agent services satisfy the requirement of having an appointed agent in a state you’re doing business in and you can use these addresses on file with state institutions.
If we receive any correspondence from the government at your Registered Agent address, we’ll digitize the documents for you to view in the Stable Dashboard alongside mail from your primary address.
Note that these are separate addresses and services from your primary Stable address and cost $25 / month.
Yes, we'll sort out mail like advertisements, coupons, and magazines for you, and we won't upload any mail to your dashboard that is obviously junk mail. Junk mail does not count against your plan's monthly total.
Yes, you can use your Stable address for incorporation.
