We shipped permissions! With permissions, accounts can now create roles and mail groups. Roles grant granular access to mail groups and locations — for example, we could create a Finance role that is only allowed to scan mail received at an NYC address or deposit checks in the Vendor Payments mail group.
We also shipped auto-routing which automatically assigns mail to a mail group for handling by team members. For example, you could set up a routing rule that assigns all mail for the IRS to the HR and Finance mail groups. This feature is powerful when combined with custom permissions because specific teams will now be notified and able to triage mail automatically.
This sprint we continued work on custom permissions. Once complete, users will be able to have granular access to different action, mail, and parts of the dashboard. If you’re interested in learning more about custom permissions, please let us know!

This sprint we improved when and how notifications are sent. Specifically, you’ll notice notifications are now sent at the beginning of the day, instead of the end. This should make it easier to remember to act on mail throughout the day!
We also rebuilt how notifications are sent to reduce strain on our infrastructure.
We shipped an exciting addition to our onboarding flow this sprint — now, when you create a new Stable address, we’ll automatically send you a physical piece of welcome mail to orient you with the platform!
Users are now able to self-serve upgrade from legacy plans to our new grow and scale plans.
