Registered Agent, Entity Monitoring, and State Filings

We spent the last month shipping a number of improvements to our Registered Agent product:

• Entity Verification — during onboarding we now detect where your business is registered, who the Registered Agent on file is, and what next steps may be required to transition to Stable
• Foreign Qualification — we can now help you register to do business in a state outside of your incorporation state, and act as the Registered Agent in that state.
• Change of Agent — we can now help you file Change of Agent paperwork when you add a Registered Agent to Stable so that the transition is seamless

Filings API (alpha)

Our Filings API is now in alpha! You can use our Filings API to complete 15+ types of entity related filings and actions programmatically. For example, you could:

• File foreign qualification forms
• File annual reports
• File change of agent forms
• Get EINs / TINs
• Create registered agents

Use our Filings API to automate your internal filing processes, offer a suite of state compliance tools to your end customers, or interface with your LLM of choice!.

Change of Address Updates

When you onboard to Stable we help you transition all of your old addresses over to us and then guide you through setting up mail forwarding with USPS. This month we spent time improving this Change of Address process

• New task cards, icons, and hints indicate what’s important to focus on
• We’ve made it much more clear to understand what’s expected at each step of the USPS Change of Address form — copy exact inputs and view specific screen shots

Self-Serve Webhooks

Stable can send you webhook events (docs) when interesting changes happen to your account like receiving a piece of mail, or adding a location. Now, you can activate and set up webhooks self-serve.

Address Book

Stable can repackage and ship mail you receive at your address to anywhere in the world. Now, you can save, edit, and delete addresses you ship to often in a shared address book. Keep the addresses you reuse, drop the ones you don't.

We pre-filled the address book with your five most recent destinations so it's useful right away.

Entity Filings

We now support filing 16 different types of entity related forms in all 50 states, Washington DC, and Puerto Rico. These forms include Change of Agent, Foreign Qualification, Annual Reports, and more.

Filings provide a standardized, secure, and fast way to file specific forms in the jurisdictions where you operate. To file a form with Stable you can:

• Add a registered agent to your company (here)
• Click the kebab menu on the top right of the specific jurisdictions page where you want to file that form

Entity Monitoring

We now support state level entity monitoring! Each month we will automatically check your entity records with the Secretary of State and alert you if something needs your attention. For example, if there is a change in your entity standing, a registered agent, or on file information.

Enabling entity monitoring is a proactive step you can take to create peace of mind and ensure you have one less thing to worry about staying on top of.
