By applying advanced OCR (Optical Character Recognition), machine learning models trained on thousands of real-world mail samples, and artificial intelligence, Stable has increased the percentage of mail that is auto-transcribed by 15X — and does so with speed and precision.
Mail uploaded from any of our processing centers is now transcribed and assigned to the correct customer faster than ever, often in seconds. We’ve seen a majority of mail transition to near instant transcription time since this update was released. The system also uses new address normalization and intelligent matching techniques to ensure that even the most complex or handwritten mail is routed correctly. The result is near 100% accuracy in customer assignment, with far broader coverage across mail types and formats. And in situations where confidence may be lower, we put humans in the loop.
