Planting our flag: Introducing the new Stable brand

Today, Stable is proud to debut our new branding.

Since our founding in 2020, we’ve experienced tremendous growth, built a product that saves countless hours of time, and established a culture centered on creating an unrivaled customer experience. We now automate mail operations for over 10,000 companies — from solopreneurs to public companies like GitLab and DoorDash. Throughout this journey, we’ve continued to add value for our customers — and yet our brand stayed stagnant.

We’re now at an inflection point in our story, and with that it’s time to bid farewell to the beloved mailbox and raise the flag. Our new branding is more than just a visual refresh. It’s a signal that we have leveled up as a business and are ready to deliver more impact than ever before. Mail has always been just the beginning, and our brand now matches our capabilities and ambitions for the years to come.

Why we rebranded

As we reflected on the company we’ve built, and the future we’re building toward, it became clear our brand needed to evolve with us. We needed something that reflects the scale, ambition, and depth of what we’re creating. A few key themes emerged:

Our unique value:  We free businesses to focus on what matters most by taking the complex, undesirable tasks that are holding them back, like managing their mail or business address, and making them simple. It’s a magic trick that has offered relief to over 10,000 customers and counting.

Who we serve:  Stable serves businesses of any size, from formation to IPO. We work with startups, real estate firms, restaurants, and everything in between. No matter where a business is on its journey or what its goals are, we can be counted on to deliver. We’re proven, secure, and scalable.

Our mission:  Our mission is to make it simple to headquarter any business on the internet. Today we do that by providing businesses with a permanent address and virtual mailbox for managing their physical mail online. However, we’re always looking for more ways to make managing a business entity easy for our customers. We’ve introduced registered agent services, electronic check deposits, and more. And it's a platform we will continue to broaden.

Our new brand embodies these themes and will help us to more effectively communicate to customers how we’re uniquely positioned to help.

What our new brand represents

We chose the flag as our new logo because it is symbolic of establishing a headquarters. In a world where businesses are born and scaled online, Stable is the flag in the ground.

Visually, our new identity pulls inspiration from mail and geography — stamps, map lines, textures. Together, they create a brand that’s warm, dependable, and distinctively Stable.

Finally, we wanted our new brand to feel human. Everything we do at Stable is with our customers in mind. We pride ourselves on being a service you can count on, a place where you can always get in touch with a real human, and a software that’s simple and just works. We want that to be clear from the moment you land on our home page.

A moment of gratitude

As we turn the page on our old brand, we feel a tremendous sense of appreciation: to the customers who trusted us early, the partners who believed in our mission, and the team members who committed themselves to doing things the right way. Figuring out what we wanted our new branding to say wasn’t difficult. The answers were alive and thriving within our organization, fortified over five years of hard work, dedication, and collaboration.

That’s why it's important to make clear that, while things may look different and our goals are evolving, some things will never change. The elegant solutions and quality service that Stable is known for will remain at the heart of everything we do. We’re here to serve our customers, and that commitment is stronger than ever. This rebrand may mark a new beginning, but it’s built on the same foundation of trust that got us here.

What’s next

A fresh visual design is only one of the many exciting initiatives we’ve been working on.

In terms of our physical footprint, we’re continuing to expand our network of premium virtual addresses. In the last year, we’ve launched in over 10 major cities, including Chicago, Boston, and Seattle, and have even more new locations in the works. With that, we’re also expanding our mail processing capacity. We’re investing heavily in the technology that powers our operations, resulting in faster turnaround times and greater reliability for our customers.

On the product front, we’re continuously shipping new features requested by our customers. In the coming weeks, we’re rolling out content-based routing — a new feature that automatically assigns mail to the right team based on key words found in any piece of mail. It eliminates the guesswork and saves teams even more time.

All of that being said, we're still at the beginning of our journey. Our goal is to provide peace of mind for companies in managing their business. We understand companies have to abide by antiquated business requirements from the 1800s — and we have many more tools in the works that empower modern companies to move forward faster.

Take a look around

We invite you to get to know our new brand. Our updated website and social media channels (LinkedIn / X) are a great place to start. Be sure to follow and check in often. We’ll be rapidly adding new content, news, and insights over the next several weeks.

And we’d love to hear what you think!  We value an open dialogue and exchange of ideas with customers present and future.

We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter in our story. We hope you’ll join us.
