After graduating from Y Combinator and acquiring 100+ customers in 2020, we knew going into 2021 that we were onto something big. With the wave of companies going remote, more and more businesses have been searching for a virtual address and mailbox solution to replace their physical office, digitize back-office operations, and collaborate easily with a distributed team. All of which has been fueling our growth.
2021 was an incredible year for Stable. By focusing on an intuitive product and a delightful customer experience, we've been able to build a truly differentiated solution in the virtual address and mailbox space. We've created something that people need and love, and have grown our market share as a result. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been able to accomplish below.
In the past year, we’ve been able to unveil new, exciting features to better serve our customers. We shipped bulk mail actions, onboarding self-service, advanced settings, automations, registered agent services, and Stable Reminders, to name a few.
We also love feedback from our customers on how we can continue to make handling mail easier and more delightful. Building while staying close to our customers is one of our superpowers, and is what makes using Stable so easy and intuitive.

We can’t forget the behind the scenes of what goes on at the physical mail facility. There are many operational steps that go into every single piece of mail we process. We understand the importance of accurately handling and processing mail quickly, especially when someone may be waiting for an important document.
In the last year, we invested in our mail operations infrastructure and hardware to make mail processing faster and more efficient. We have upgraded our scanners, built a lot of software in-house, and are well-equipped to handle spikes in volume in the coming years.
Of course, none of what we accomplished would be possible without our amazing team. At the beginning of 2021, we (the founders) were behind every single customer support email, onboarding call, and bug fix –– and while we still do many of these tasks to stay close to our customers, we knew we needed to move faster to keep up with our unprecedented growth. So we found some awesome individuals to join the team.
Today, we are a distributed team of 7 that helps out with customer experience, growth, engineering, operations, and everything in between. The contribution of every single team member is imperative to making sure that mail is processed quickly (typically same day) and our customers continue to love using Stable. We're also hiring in 2022!
This past year has gone by incredibly fast, and yet when I look back on everything we were able to accomplish, I only get more excited about what we are going to build in 2022.
We have ambitious plans in 2022 to increase our address network, build out highly requested features, and grow our customer-base. And this time, we are better equipped than ever before to tackle everything that comes our way. 2022 is going to be the best year yet.
