👩‍💻👨‍💻 Role

More than 6000 businesses trust Stable to provide a better process for their inbound mail, and thousands more are looking for a solution every month. Stable services companies from the S&P 500 all the way newly incorporated sole-proprietorships, and we are hiring a Sales Development Representative to convert inbound interest from small businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for you to grow Stable’s book of business while helping new customers operate more efficiently.

Business leaders who come to Stable are looking to simplify their mail operations - the ideal candidate for this role will work directly with those inbound contacts to answer questions, communicate Stable’s value, and implement solutions that fit their needs.

  • Be a trusted guide for inbound prospects — Customers often come to Stable overwhelmed and confused about their mail operations. You’ll help guide them through the signup process by answering inbound questions via email and video calls, giving customers the comfort that they’ll be taken care of with Stable.
  • Identify the customer needs & match to Stable’s offering We view the first conversation as the beginning of a partnership, starting it off by understanding prospects’ challenges.  You will follow up with prospects who have not completed their Stable signup process to identify the blockers, understand their needs and assist them through completed signup or qualification to Stable’s Enterprise Sales team.
  • Lay the groundwork for future growth — Customers from all sorts of industries need a mail solution.  You’ll work to test, refine, and create processes that identify the best prospects and uncover the most efficient ways to reach them.  Using that understanding, you’ll create playbooks and processes to enable growth of Stable’s Sales operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Be Face of Stable - Make a great first impression with customers who have shown interest in Stable’s products, answering their inbound questions and working together to convert them to customers
  • Sales Guidance for Self-Serve - Act as the lead for all self-serve plan customers who need guidance during their signup process
  • Qualify Leads for Custom Deals - Identify customers whose needs differ from Stable’s standard offering and coordinate with the Sales team to find the right solution
  • Source New Customers - Proactively source new customer relationships by identifying which customer needs can best be solved by Stable
  • Find the Best Ponds to Fish In - Pinpoint the best personas and channels for new customers and coordinate with Sales and Marketing to work increase throughput


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, Sales, Business Development, Account Management or a related field
  • 2+ years in Sales with a track record of exceeding lead targets
  • Proven experience building strong customer relationships and efficiently communicating internal and external voices
  • Previous experience working in a growing, scaling Sales team
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and video communication skills, with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working within Sales & CRM software
