👩‍💻👨‍💻 Role

Over the last year, we’ve made significant strides in expanding the impact of our content to increase top-of-funnel website traffic and draw more prospective customers to Stable. Our content marketing efforts have translated into 12x growth for self-serve conversion and sales leads. We know this is just the beginning. With the momentum gained over the last year, we are excited to hire Stable’s first Content Marketer.

In this role, you’ll own and execute a content strategy that will not only attract and retain our target audience, but also enhance the company's reputation as a thought leader in the industry. You’ll also continuously identify opportunities for optimization and improvement, ensuring that the content strategy is effective and drives desired results. Your deep collaboration with cross-functional teams will strengthen our messaging and storytelling, leading to a consistent and cohesive experience across Stable. A few of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development and execution of a blog strategy that engages our target audience, showcases our expertise, and drives organic traffic and lead generation.
  • Craft impactful and SEO-optimized website copy that effectively communicates our value proposition, product offerings, and unique selling points in line with our branding and user experience goals.
  • Create diverse content assets, including e-books, whitepapers, newsletters, case studies, and infographics to support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts.
  • Experiment with new types of content to drive engagement and create dashboards to measure the success of content marketing initiatives.

This position is great for someone who is invigorated about wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment and is willing to help out with other growth needs, strategy, and operational initiatives. We are looking for someone who is adaptive and excited to work at an early-stage startup.

✅ What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that aligns with our company goals and target audience.
  • Create engaging and high-quality content for our blog, website, social media platforms, and other channels.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using key metrics such as organic search traffic, views, keyword rankings, backlinks, and impressions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and storytelling.
  • Optimize content for SEO and user engagement, leveraging data-driven insights to drive content effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve and innovate our content marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with Stable’s go-to-market team on growth initiatives.

✨ Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience scaling revenue through content marketing at a B2B tech company.
  • Top tier writing and editing skills with a creative mindset to develop compelling content.
  • Extensive experience working on a variety of content types from long-form thought leadership to short form social media posts.
  • Expert grasp of SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search visibility.
  • Solid understanding of content marketing metrics and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Metabase, and social media analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic start-up environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ruthlessly running experiments to test what works.
  • Bonus: Agency management experience.
