Whenever a piece of mail arrives for you, we’ll notify you via email and/or Slack. After that, we’ll keep the physical mail for you in our facility for 30 days.
Because of limitations in our physical space, after 30 days, we’ll shred your mail if you haven’t decided to forward it or deposit it (if it’s a check). Before we shred it, we’ll be sure to notify you again to let you know of upcoming shred dates.
However, if you’ve opted to scan your mail, the digital copy will be available indefinitely in your Stable dashboard. We’ll store the scan of it forever on our server.
Tip: If you want to make sure you don’t miss anything, our team recommends turning on auto-scanning (available for free in our Startup and Business plans). That way, every piece of mail you receive will be automatically scanned and digitally stored.
